India Africa Business Conclave (3rd Edition) 19th & 20th September 2025
Pune: The Global India Business Forum (GIBF) successfully organized the third edition of the India-Africa Business Conclave at The Grand Heritage Resort, Pune, on 19th and 20th September 2025. This landmark event brought together High Commissioners, Ambassadors, Diplomats, Business Leaders, Industry Experts, and Entrepreneurs from more than 20 African nations alongside leading Indian businesses, fostering a spirit of collaboration, trade, and mutual growth.
19th September:
The Conclave commenced with a vibrant Maharashtrian Miraunuk procession, featuring the rhythmic beats of dhol–tashe and women in traditional Navvari sarees. The venue, adorned with the flags of all participating African nations, symbolized unity and respect. High Commissioners, Ambassadors, and Diplomats walked alongside Indian delegates, reflecting a shared vision for a prosperous partnership.
The inaugural ceremony included a traditional lamp-lighting, followed by a felicitation ceremony where Dr. Jitendra Joshi (Founder & Global President, GIBF) and Mrs. Deepali Gadkari (Secretary General, GIBF) honored all the distinguished dignitaries and sponsors for their invaluable contributions to strengthening India–Africa relations.
20th September:
The second day continued with country presentations from delegations including Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and others, shedding light on investment opportunities and trade policies. Delegates also participated in curated industry visits to IFB Appliances, Haier Appliances, Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel, and Bajaj Electricals, gaining valuable insights into India’s manufacturing excellence.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of H.E. Jeannot Cannot la Rose, Minister of Education, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Ms. Neelam Gorhe, Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council. Their participation added immense value, particularly in the areas of education, governance, and international cooperation. The Conclave also featured the active involvement of Abhishek Joshi, Global Director of GIBF and CEO & Director of Abhi Group of Companies.
The two-day Conclave successfully created a high-impact platform for B2B and B2G networking, bilateral trade discussions, and cultural exchange, further cementing the long-standing ties between India and Africa.
